2019 Gravel Pit Shiraz
As the name suggests, the vineyard block had been used previously to excavate gravel to construct the roads within the hills of the Ferguson Valley.
A style which exudes vibrancy, juicy and spicy character, matched to a full flavoured and complex palate. Perfume of spice, star anise, blackberry and raspberry, pure and striking. Opulent and mouth filling black satsuma plum and dark plums supported by fine, long silky tannins.
Our tasting notes: I fell in love with the Gravel Pit Shiraz from Willow Bridge Estate years ago. A bit of spice on the nose gets you sucked in, It has everything you want from a medium to full bodied bodied Shiraz. Well rounded tannins makes this a pleasure to crack a bottle. Guaranteed winner for Shiraz lovers.
