Dukes vineyard Magpie Hill series consistently produces some of WA's best Shiraz.

The 2016 vintage is full of berries, plums, spice and all things nice.

Medium body, smooth and feels like everything is in balance. A truly premium Shiraz drinking well now but will cellar and continue to gain complexity over 10 years.

There's an energy and beauty to wines from the Great Southern generally and Porongurup specifically, this shiraz is an example of the latter, restrained and well-composed. It's a gentle, pretty wine with a delicate mix of florals, sweet red berries and plums, vanillin, musk and spice; the palate is medium-bodied at best with supple, soft tannins - it just feels effortless.
