Field Blend 2019

The John Kosovich 2019 Field Blend is new to the range, but already comes highly rated.

Fresh, crisp and lively showing nice spicy hints, lemon zest, ripe pear and apple characters. A great accompaniment to a wide range of dishes.

The concept of this wine was to create a Field Blend where parcels of Semillon; 41%, Verdelho; 32%, Chardonnay; 17% and Sauvignon Blanc; 10%, where selected then picked all on the same day and processed together as a single batch. It's result is  a vivid portrait of the Swan Valley at its best, zesty and tangy.

Partners in Wine WA Notes: An absolute delight. The Semillon certainly does dominate with a fresh, zesty feel to it. Each varietal is certainly playing it's part here which makes it hard to pinpoint exact flavours. Everything is in perfect harmony though!
