The Red Gate 2018 Shiraz has a Concentrated, ripe and intense with wild blackberry, sweet spice and tapenade notes, the bouquet of the wine makes for a heady mix. The palate is rich with plums and blackberries and is balanced by persistent, savoury tannins and quality, vanilla oak characters. Drink now, or cellar for further complexity.
Halliday says: Bright purple-red, fresh and quite primary. Flavours of spicy black blackcurrants, dark plums and caravan tea in a web of fine tannin plus a bright cherry raspberry pip acidity. Balanced, refreshing and composed.
