Duke’s Vineyard Sparkling Cabernet Rose

Duke’s Vineyard, known for its commitment to producing high-quality wines, has expanded its repertoire to include a luxurious Sparkling Rosé. This sparkling Rosé is a delightful addition to their portfolio, crafted with the same attention to detail that characterises their other offerings.

The wine features a delicate salmon pink colour, presenting a bright and inviting appearance. The nose is a bouquet of bright wild strawberries, fresh crushed forest berries, red currants, and pink rose petals, creating a fresh and fragrant profile.

On the palate, the Sparkling Cabernet Rosé is a celebration of juicy summer berries. Flavours of wild raspberries and strawberries are prominent, with a fine, elegant texture and a creamy mouthfeel. Hints of vanilla pod add a subtle complexity, while the freshness of raspberry cane and red currant provides a lively and delicious finish.

This sparkling Rosé is perfect for a variety of occasions. It pairs beautifully with light canapés, such as smoked salmon blinis or fresh oysters, and complements a range of salads and seafood dishes. Its refreshing character makes it an ideal choice for celebrations or simply as a delightful aperitif.

Duke’s Vineyard is nestled between the picture-perfect Stirling & Porongurup ranges of Western Australia, in the Great Southern Wine Region. Duke’s wines is a family-owned, boutique winery that has achieved many outstanding accolades over a 20 plus year history including being awarded Best Australian Wine of the Year in 2019 James Halliday’s Wine Companion.

Dukes Winery has an award-winning collection of dry Rieslings, Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz which thrive in the opulent surroundings of one of the oldest mountain ranges in the world, the Porongurups.

When founders Duke and Hilde Ranson retired in 2022, Ben Cane and his partner Sarah Date stepped in to acquire Duke’s Vineyard. Ben, formerly the chief winemaker at esteemed labels in Australia and California, felt deeply privileged to take the reins of this family-owned enterprise. Duke’s Vineyard, celebrated for its role in elevating Great Southern Rieslings to prominence, entrusted Ben to carry forward its legacy of excellence, and he has done just that!
