Bold | Smooth | Award-Winning

The Leeuwin Estate Art Series Cabernet Sauvignon 2022 is a commanding yet beautifully composed Margaret River Cabernet that shows exactly why this label is held in such high regard. One of the region’s benchmark wines, it delivers depth, structure and refinement in equal measure, combining powerful varietal expression with the poise that defines great Cabernet. Predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon with a small inclusion of Malbec, the wine opens with classic blackcurrant fruit, a touch of leaf, hints of oyster shell and a lifted violet perfume. On the palate, it is intense yet finely tuned, with impressive concentration wrapped around seamless oak, chalky tannins and a long, controlled finish. There is real presence here, but nothing feels overdone. Instead, the 2022 vintage captures a lovely sense of harmony, where fruit weight, savoury detail and elegant structure all work together. It is already a striking wine to drink now with decanting, but it also has the pedigree and balance to cellar superbly for many years.
