Peos 4 Kings Pinot Noir 2025

Vibrant | Fresh | Elegant

The Peos Estate 4 Kings Pinot Noir of 2025 is a beautifully bright and approachable Manjimup Pinot Noir that shows just how appealing a lighter, fruit-forward style can be. Grown from 100% Manjimup fruit, the cooler 2025 season allowed for slower ripening and excellent flavour development, helping the wine retain its crisp natural acidity and pure varietal character. Light bodied and refreshingly clean, it opens with ripe raspberry and strawberry notes, supported by gentle spice and a soft, silky texture that makes it very easy to enjoy. Importantly, there is no obvious oak influence here, so the focus stays firmly on freshness, purity and vibrant red fruit expression. Elegant, youthful and highly drinkable, this is a Pinot Noir that offers plenty of charm now, while still having the structure to cellar gracefully over the years ahead.

Why You Will Love It ❤️

  • Fresh and Fruit Forward: Ripe raspberry and strawberry flavours give the wine a bright, generous and easy-drinking style.

  • Light & Elegant: A lighter-bodied Pinot Noir with fine tannins, crisp acidity and a smooth, graceful finish.

  • Pure Pinot Character: With no obvious oak influence, the wine stays clean, vibrant and true to its varietal expression.

  • Very Food Friendly: A lovely match for charcuterie, grilled vegetables, mushroom dishes or lighter poultry meals.

  • Excellent Value: Good Pinot Noir at this price point can be hard to find, making this a very attractive option.

Tasting Notes

  • Colour: Bright violet core with a delicate ruby rim.
  • Aromas: Fresh and inviting with a mix of baking spices, raspberry, plum, and light vanilla.
  • Flavours: Vibrant strawberry and savoury notes on the palate, with a hint of spice. Fine tannins and fresh acidity provide balance.
  • Finish: Long, clean finish with lingering fruit and spice.

Winemaking Details

  • Whole Bunch Fermentation: 10% of the grapes were fermented whole (without being crushed), which adds a slight savoury character and complexity to the wine.
  • Skin Contact: The wine spent 10 days on the skins, allowing for the extraction of colour, flavour, and tannins, giving it structure and a full flavour profile.
  • French Oak Maturation: Aged in French oak barrels, which provides subtle oak influence without overpowering the fruit, and contributes to the wine’s smooth texture.

Food Pairing Suggestions

  • Grilled Salmon: The fresh fruit and spice flavours complement the rich, smoky flavours of grilled fish.
  • Roast Chicken: A delicate pairing where the savoury notes and fresh acidity balance the richness of the chicken.
  • Mushroom Risotto: The earthy mushrooms enhance the wine’s complexity, while its smooth finish cuts through the creamy texture.
  • Cheese: Pairs well with soft cheeses like Brie or Camembert, where the wine’s acidity enhances the richness of the cheese.

Best Serving Temp

Serve at 14°C – 16°C for the perfect balance of fruit, acidity, and oak.
