Wines in the Pack 🍷

Peos Four Kings Pinot Noir

The 2023 Peos Estate 4 Kings Pinot Noir is a standout wine made from 100% Manjimup fruit. Aged in French oak, this Pinot Noir is drinking beautifully now but will continue to develop over the next eight years. It’s Fresh and Fruity, bursting with ripe raspberry and strawberry flavours, balanced by light spices and a touch of vanilla.

Best Serving Temperature: 14°C
Pinot Noir is best served slightly cooler than room temperature to preserve its fresh, vibrant character. If stored at room temperature (around 21°C), chill it in the fridge for about 20-30 minutes before serving.

Ampersand Pinot Noir

The Ampersand Pinot Noir is a beautiful example of cool-climate Pinot Noir from Pemberton. This wine has a lovely balance between the pristine fruit and savoury complexity, giving Pinot lovers a lot of joy! With delicate aromas of cherries and strawberries, this Pinot Noir offers a sophisticated balance of juicy fruit and savoury depth. The cool-climate influence of Pemberton creates vibrant acidity, ensuring the wine is lively yet smooth, with a refined finish that lingers.

Best Serving Temperature: 14°C
For the best experience, serve this wine slightly cooler than room temperature. If stored at room temperature, place the bottle in the fridge for 30-40 minutes before serving.

Woodgate Reserve Pinot Noir

The 2022 Reserve Pinot Noir from Woodgate, affectionately known as “The Black George“, is an exceptional expression of Woodgate Winery’s ongoing dedication to crafting outstanding Pinot Noir in the renowned Manjimup region. This wine showcases exceptional character, finesse, and complexity. With its delicate balance of red fruit and well-integrated oak, this Pinot Noir offers a refined, age-worthy experience that evolves beautifully over time. A focused and graceful wine, offering a delicate sweetness with generous red berry fruit notes of cherry and raspberry. The well-handled oak influences the wine without overpowering the fruit, adding complexity and layering to the overall experience.

Best Serving Temperature: 14–16°C
Pinot Noir thrives when served just below room temperature. If stored at room temperature, chill it in the fridge for 20-30 minutes before serving.

Below & Above Pinot Noir

Crafted from Below & Above’s regeneratively grown vineyards in the cool-climate region of Pemberton, this Pinot Noir has a seductive nose of rose petals, sour cherry, dark plum, and hints of truffle-like characters, creating a complex and enticing bouquet.

  • Ray Jordan Review – 96 Points: “Clearly the best Pinot Noir yet from Below & Above. The aromas are immediately compelling and complex, with a sour cherry, dark plum, and spicy combination working with some slightly truffle-like characters.”

Best Serving Temperature: 14-16°C
Pinot Noir is best served slightly cooler than room temperature to preserve its fresh, vibrant character. If stored at room temperature (around 21°C), chill it in the fridge for about 20-30 minutes before serving.

Pemberley Pinot Noir

From one of Pemberton’s oldest vineyards, the 2023 Pemberley Pinot Noir is a trophy-winning expression of cool-climate Pinot. Grown on deep red karri loams, this wine beautifully balances vibrant fruit, earthy complexity, and soft tannins. A seamless blend of wild strawberry, mulled cherries, and forest floor. Recognised as the Best Pinot Noir in the Southern Forests & Valleys Wine Show.

Best Serving Temperature: 14-16°C
For the best experience, serve this wine slightly cooler than room temperature. If stored at room temperature, place the bottle in the fridge for 30-40 minutes before serving.

Smithbrook Pinot Noir

As one of Australia’s most exciting up and coming wine regions, Pemberton has become synonymous with high-quality, cool climate wines – particularly Pinot Noir. The Smithbrook Pinot Noir is packed with juicy red berries and complemented by earthy notes of mushroom and forest floor, encompassing all the good things about complex and delicious Pinot Noir. With spicy, silky tannins and an elegant cool climate acidity, this is an incredible value wine which will fast become a household favourite.

Best Serving Temperature: 14–16°C
Pinot Noir thrives when served just below room temperature. If stored at room temperature, chill it in the fridge for 20-30 minutes before serving.

Getting Your Wine to the Right Temperature

  • Room Temperature: If the wine is stored at room temperature (around 21°C), it is typically too warm for Pinot Noir. For optimal tasting, chill your wine in the fridge for 20-30 minutes before serving.

Serving your Pinot Noir at the right temperature ensures its subtle aromas and flavours are fully expressed. Too cold, and the wine’s complexity can be masked; too warm, and the alcohol may overpower the delicate fruit. A little bit of planning ensures that your Pinot Noir is served just right!
