Graphite Road Wavelength Rosé

Merlot is an excellent choice for rosé thanks to its naturally soft and approachable character. Its bright red fruit flavours, such as strawberry, raspberry, and cherry, translate beautifully into the delicate profile of a rosé, delivering a fresh and fruity palate. The grape’s moderate acidity and smooth tannins ensure a balanced, easy-drinking wine, while its versatility allows winemakers to craft rosés that range from light and crisp to fuller-bodied styles.

Made from 100% Manjimup Merlot, the 2024 Wavelength Rose has a pale salmon colour,  with a subtle gold hue on the edges. Aromas of delicate strawberries, sweet spice, and a subtle vanilla note. A beautiful palate of raspberries, guided by a pomegranate acidity to a fresh, clean finish.

Machine harvested in the cool, early hours of the morning when the delicate fruit flavours, sugars and natural acidity were in balance. The fruit was gently crushed and pressed to tank for cool fermentation preserving aromatics, fruit flavours minimising colour extraction before an early bottling to capture the pure flavours.
