The Myattsfield 2019 Sparkling is a blend of Pinot & Chardonnay.
On the nose there is a wonderful soft lifted very yeasty notes, the palate is clean, fresh and acidic, with some lovely lemon curd and yeast autolysis characters.
This wine is a perfect aperitif, dry, crisp, and refreshing. It will also go very well with freshly shucked oysters.
A classic cuvee made from 51% Chardonnay and 49% Pinot Noir. Secondary fermentation was conducted in the bottle (Methode Traditionelle style).
