Estate GSM 2021
Willow Bridge Estate located about 15 mins from Bunbury is regarded as one of the best in the Fergusen Valley region of WA.
A blend made famous in the Rhône Valley of France, Grenache, Shiraz and Mataro are blended to make a juicy, vibrant and fresh wine blend of medium body and clean tannin.
Plenty of redcurrant, musk and pepper, entwined with aromas of forest berries. A medium bodied palate of freshly crushed black plum and vanilla spice. Textured and a long finish.
Wine Companion - Last vintage rated 2020
If you haven't clocked on to this yet, Geographe is home to a bounty of producers doing brilliant things with red varieties such as grenache, shiraz, mataro and tempranillo. Which brings us to this. A bouncy, pure, and delicious wine. Raspberry lolly, salami, blackberry, licorice and satsuma plum mingle on the palate, within the confines of fine, chalky tannins. With length of flavour that punches well above its price, this is a very compelling little wine.
