Plume Estate
Plume Estate Vineyard is a boutique Perth Hills winery known for estate-grown wines, sweeping Bickley Valley views and a relaxed cellar door experience that brings together wine, food and place in a very natural way. With a strong local identity and a clear connection to the valley itself, Plume has built a reputation for wines that feel personal, regional and easy to enjoy.
About Plume Estate Vineyard
Plume Estate Vineyard is based in the Bickley Valley in the Perth Hills, a small but distinctive wine region known for its elevation, rolling landscapes and cooler conditions. That setting gives the winery a strong sense of place from the outset, with the vineyard and cellar door both closely tied to the beauty and character of the valley.
There is a boutique feel to Plume that suits the winery well. The wines are estate grown and hand picked, which gives the range a more personal and site-led identity, while the cellar door remains welcoming and relaxed rather than overly formal.
The Bickley Valley and the Plume style
The Perth Hills has a slightly different feel to many of Western Australia’s larger wine regions, and Plume reflects that nicely. The wines tend to show freshness, brightness and varietal character, while still feeling generous and enjoyable at the table. Across sparkling, whites, rosé and reds, the range carries a clear regional thread without becoming narrow in style.
That balance is part of the winery’s appeal. Plume offers wines that feel approachable and drinkable, but they are still grounded in a real vineyard story and a recognisable local setting. It is a winery that feels connected to its region in a genuine way.
A vineyard with a broader sense of experience
Part of what makes Plume memorable is that the experience goes beyond wine alone. The cellar door kitchen, share dishes and panoramic valley outlook all sit naturally alongside the wines, giving the brand a fuller sense of place than a label focused only on bottle sales.
There is also a thoughtful, forward-looking side to the winery, with Plume embracing sustainability and innovation as part of its vineyard identity. That adds another layer to the story, while still keeping the overall feel grounded, local and easy to enjoy.
