The wine itself is serious quality. Made entirely from the famous Gin Gin clone and largely sourced from the cooler Karridale subregion of Margaret River, it shows stone fruit, nectarine, jasmine, lemon curd, ginger, apricot skin and a fine mineral edge. French oak gives it structure and polish, while the palate stays balanced, sleek and fresh.

Serving and Cellaring 

Serve: 10 to 12°C

Avoid serving it too cold. A little warmth in the glass will help the stone fruit, lemon curd and oak detail open up.

Decant: Not needed, but a few minutes in a good Chardonnay glass will help it show more texture and complexity.

Cellaring: Drinking impressively now, but this has the balance and structure to develop further. Enjoy now to 2033.
