New Natural Cleanskin Rose 2025

rare partners in wine wa logo

Crisp | Refreshing | Bone Dry

Straight out of Mount Barker in Western Australia’s Great Southern, this small-batch Cleanskin Rosé is all about fresh, vibrant flavour with a more minimal-intervention “new wave” approach. Made from single vineyard Shiraz, it’s gently pressed straight from harvest to keep the colour delicate and the palate clean — resulting in a seriously refreshing rosé that’s bone dry, textured, and dangerously easy to drink.  Crafted with care using sustainable farming and vegan-friendly winemaking, this is the kind of rosé you’ll crack open on a warm afternoon… and suddenly realise the bottle’s empty.

We are lucky to have a small batch of this wine available as a cleanskin due to overproduction. The labelled version of this wine has an RRP of $26! The stock we are showing is all that is available.

Why You Will Love It ❤️

Bright Red Berry Lift
Fabulously fruited and instantly appealing, with prominent red berry aromas that jump straight out of the glass.

Bone Dry & Super Refreshing
A crisp, clean style with very low residual sugar and a refreshing finish that keeps you coming back for another sip.

Textural & Food-Friendly
Despite being light and dry, it has a lovely mouthfeel and gentle texture, making it perfect with food.

Minimal Intervention, Maximum Enjoyment
Pressed straight from harvest to preserve freshness and avoid harsh phenolics — pure, clean rosé energy.

Tasting Notes 🍓

This Cleanskin Rosé pours a white peachy pink colour with a slightly copper tone. On the nose, it’s fresh, fruity and vibrant, showing prominent red berry aromas. The palate is bone dry, with an appealing texture and mouthfeel, finishing clean and crisp with refreshing energy.

Food Pairing Suggestions 🍽️

Seafood – Prawns, oysters, grilled fish or ceviche (the dry finish is perfect here).
Grilled Chicken – Especially with lemon, herbs or light marinades.
Fresh Salads – Think citrus dressing, feta, strawberries, rocket, or grilled peach.
Charcuterie Boards – Cured meats, soft cheeses, olives and fresh fruit for an easy crowd-pleaser.

Best Serving Temp ❄️

Serve chilled at 8°C so the freshness and fruit pop beautifully.

If storing in the fridge (around 5°C):
Take the bottle out 5 minutes before serving for the ideal temp.

Technical Terms Explained 🥂

Minimal Intervention Rosé:
A hands-off style of winemaking where the goal is to let the fruit and vineyard character shine, with minimal tweaking in the winery.

Vegan Friendly Wine:
Made without animal-based fining agents (so it’s suitable for vegan drinkers).

Sustainable Farming:
The vineyard uses integrated farming practices — including sheep grazing after harvest to naturally control weeds and improve soil health.

Pressed Straight From Harvest:
Fruit is pressed immediately after picking to keep the colour delicate and avoid bitter grip from excess skin/seed contact.

What is a Cleanskin Wine?

Cleanskin wine refers to red, white, or sparkling wines that come without labels or detailed information about the winery. Despite their unlabelled status, cleanskin wines can offer exceptional quality at a fraction of the usual price.

Why Are Wines Cleanskin?

  1. Overproduction: Wineries sometimes produce more wine than they can sell. To manage excess inventory and prevent wastage, these wines are sold as cleanskins at reduced prices.
  2. Label Changes or Discontinuation: Wines that were previously branded and sold at higher prices may become cleanskins due to changes in branding or label updates. When a winery updates its label or changes its brand, older wines might be sold as cleanskins.
  3. Surplus Stock: Occasionally, wineries have surplus stock from past vintages or production runs. These wines, although still of high quality, are sold as cleanskins to make room for new vintages.
Why Choose Cleanskin Wines?

Cleanskin wines offer incredible value. Often sold at significantly lower prices than their labelled counterparts, you could be enjoying a premium-quality bottle worth $20 or more for a fraction of the cost. It’s a smart way to experience excellent wines without paying a premium.
