Partners in Wine Review

Gilberts Rose is always a consistently good drop and the new 2025 release is no different. As I type this, I am enjoying a glass of it and it’s sublime! Strawberries and cream flavours and it’s super aromatic! The acidity is there, but it’s kept in check with the creamy feel. We give it our Platinum rating and 95 Points!

Why You Will Love It ❤️

  • Crisp Acidity: The bright, fresh mouthfeel that comes from high acidity, which helps balance the fruitiness of the wine and keeps it refreshing.
  • Creamy Undertones: These come from a brief period of contact with the fermentation lees, giving the wine a subtle roundness and texture.

The Gilbert Wines Rosé of 2024 is a beautifully balanced wine that reflects the essence of the Mount Barker region. With its delightful fruitiness, refreshing acidity, and versatility, it’s the perfect wine to enjoy with light summer fare or as an aperitif on a sunny afternoon.

My favourite Rose at the minute. It’s clean and soft. Strawberries and cream style. Acid is soft too making it very easy drinking.
