Tasting Notes

  • Colour: Bright pale straw with green reflections.
  • Aromatics: Intense lemon zest and nectarine, supported by pear, lime and subtle French cedar from wild barrel fermentation.
  • Palate: Succulent lemon, pear and white peach glide across a fine, textural palate. Wild fermentation brings complexity and richness, while vanillin oak nuances are seamlessly integrated. Crisp lime acidity lifts and lengthens the wine, leading to a clean, pure and refreshing finish.
  • Finish: Long and precise with citrus purity, fine texture and lingering freshness.

Winemaker’s Notes

Fruit is sourced from Block 5 in Karridale, one of the coolest and most pristine sites in Margaret River. Handpicked bunches undergo gentle whole-bunch pressing before being transferred straight into French oak barrels for wild fermentation. The wine is stirred on lees for six months to build texture, then bottled with minimal filtration to preserve its natural character and integrity.
