Elegant ~ Fruity ~ Dry

Crafted in the cool hills of Carmel Valley, this small-batch, Dry style of Sparkling Rosé reflects the meticulous craftsmanship that defines Myattsfield Vineyards. Made from 95% Chenin Blanc with a touch of 5% Shiraz, the blend delivers vibrant fruit expression and refined structure.
Produced using the méthode traditionnelle, the same technique used for Champagne, this wine spent two years resting on lees before disgorgement, building a creamy texture and layers of complexity beneath its lively fruit core.

Why You’ll Love It ❤️

  • 🍓 Vibrant aromatics – lifted strawberries, citrus blossom and a hint of pink grapefruit zest.
  • Traditional craftsmanship – méthode traditionnelle, aged 24 months on lees for texture and creamy complexity.
  • 🍇 Unique blend – 95% Chenin Blanc co-fermented with 5% Shiraz for lifted acidity and freshness.
  • 🥂 Refined and refreshing – crisp red-berry fruit, delicate mousse and a dry, elegant finish. The Shiraz skins spent 12 hours with the juice to impact the pink colour.
  • 🏞 Sparkling History  – Myattsfield are champions of Sparkling wines with an excellent pedigree in this difficult field, producing a number of other wineries Sparling wines as well! So you are in very safe hands knowing this was made on-site at their Perth Hills vineyard.

FAQ Wine Terms 🧐

What does “méthode traditionnelle” mean?
It’s the classic Champagne process — the bubbles are created by a second fermentation in the bottle, resulting in a fine bead and creamy texture.

Why use Shiraz in a sparkling?
Shiraz brings depth, red-berry fruit and richness, while Chenin Blanc adds zip and vibrancy — a nod to Myattsfield’s unique regional style.

Why two years on lees?
Extended lees ageing adds texture, nutty and biscuity complexity, and softens the mousse — giving a sophisticated edge to the bright fruit core.

Learn About Myattsfield Vineyard

Myattsfield Vineyard is a beautiful boutique winery nested in the Perth Hills region.

The original Myattsfield was the family farm in Camberwell, London. Joseph Myatt established a market garden on land owned by the Minet family. Over 175 years on, as descendants of Joseph, we’re now here in the Bickley Valley, Western Australia. The Bickley Valley is merely a small sub-region of the Perth Hills Wine Region, spanning from Chittering to Jarrahdale. This area was acknowledged for its distinct set of geographical and topographical influences impacting the wine quality in the region by the Geographic Indications Committee. It was granted GIC status as a gazetted wine region in 1999.

Who owns Myattsfield Winery? Owners Josh and Rachael are devoted to producing premium red and white wines with a personal, hands on approach. Their wines continue to gain accolades through the industry, with the likes of Ray Jordan ranking Myattsfield a top winery of the Perth Hills. We are pleased to offer you their extensive array of award-winning wines. Expect your palate to be taken on a journey of flavours, with some lesser known, but amazing varietals rarely found like Durif.

The Darling Scarp protects the Valley from maritime influences, making the climate more continental than Mediterranean in nature. This corresponds to cold nights and warm days. Valley walls reduce direct daylight hours, resulting in the daily maxima arriving later in the day and for a shorter period. At 300-350m above sea level, the Bickley Valley is 2-3 degrees cooler than Perth. Amongst the undulating terrain and aspects, site plays an important role in the valley. Elevated, northern-facing slopes produce significantly warmer sites better suited to dry red varieties. Southern-facing, lower sites produce cooler variations capable of producing better whites and lighter reds, while elevated, western-facing sites are ideal for fortified production.
