This 2022 Premier Shiraz has a lovely appearance, showcasing a bright deep maroon colour with a hint of purple.
On the nose, you’re greeted with vibrant aromas of fresh raspberries, mixed with earthy notes that remind you of a damp forest floor and the subtle presence of fresh mushrooms. The palate begins with a luscious entry that’s wonderfully smooth, building up to a fine, dry finish. You’ll savour the delightful raspberry coulis flavour, with a hint of raspberry seeds lingering softly, all wrapped up in a refreshing mineral aftertaste.

94 Points – On a par with the 2021, which was a most impressive wine, but slightly firmer and bolder. All wild fermented with some whole bunch fermentation and a little carbonic maturation. It contributes to the syrah style winemaker Willcock is seeking. Bright medium bodied wine with lifted perfumes and spices showing delightful floral overtones. The palate retains its plush feel with a fine lift of dried herbs adding further complexity. Supremely balanced.
