Woodgate Wines Sauvignon Blanc Semillon 2023

The 2023 Woodgate Wines Sauvignon Blanc Semillon is a delightful blend, comprising 57% Sauvignon Blanc and 43% Semillon. This harmonious combination brings forth the best qualities of both varietals, resulting in a wine that is both vibrant and complex.

In the glass, it displays a light straw colour with vibrant lemon hues, showcasing its brilliant clarity. The bouquet is intensely aromatic, featuring enticing notes of fresh passionfruit, zesty lime, and succulent honeydew melon. These aromas create an inviting profile that entices the senses and sets the stage for the palate.

On tasting, the wine reveals a vibrant and approachable character, elegantly balanced with a generous burst of flavour. The crisp acidity provides a refreshing framework, enhancing the wine’s lively nature and contributing to its impressive length. Light to medium-bodied, this Sauvignon Blanc Semillon is an ideal choice for those seeking a crisp, aromatic white wine.

Perfectly suited to complement a variety of dishes, this wine pairs beautifully with chicken, prawns, and seafood, making it a versatile addition to any dining occasion. Whether enjoyed on a sunny afternoon or paired with a meal, the 2023 Woodgate Wines Sauvignon Blanc Semillon promises an enjoyable experience that showcases the essence of the region.

Woodgate Wines, established in 2006, is a family-owned and operated winery. We pride ourselves on sourcing the finest fruit for our wines, which includes grapes from our 3-hectare estate vineyard as well as selected parcels from local growers. This ensures that our wine portfolio maintains its dynamic nature, constantly evolving with the introduction of new and exciting styles. As a result, our wines always remain fresh, vibrant, and uniquely individualistic, reflecting our commitment to innovation and quality. This is evident in the Bojangles Pet Nat coming in the top 25 wines at the WA Good Food Guide Awards.

Manjimup is emerging as one of Australia’s pre-eminent food production areas.

The region boasts fresh air, clean water, productive soils, and a cool/moderate climate, making it suitable for all kinds of fresh fruit and vegetable production. It is the largest producer of French Black Truffles in the southern hemisphere, and marron, the local freshwater crayfish, are found in all farm dams. Perch and Trout abound in the local river systems, and the region is also conducive to high-quality wine production.

It is increasingly becoming a popular tourist destination for those who appreciate tall green forests, outdoor activities, and gourmet food.
