Cherubino

Larry Cherubino and wife Edwina are the heartbeat of all things Cherubino. Edwina is a fourth generation Western Australian. Her ancestors, the Egerton-Warburton’s, migrated from England and settled Frankland River in the mid 1800’s. Not just settlement pioneers, they planted the first vines on the banks of the river in 1875.

Edwina and Larry embarked on their winemaking journey by purchasing their first parcel of land in Frankland River in 2004, with dreams of planting their own vineyard. This small parcel was originally part of the historic landholding called Riversdale.

Cherubino Winery began modestly in our spare room in 2005, with the release of their first wine. Since then, the journey has seen them receive accolades such as Winery Of The Year from esteemed wine critics like James Halliday and Matt Skinner.
