Cherubino Folklore Cab Merlot 2024

Tasting Notes

Inky purple in colour, the wine presents classic Cabernet aromas of blackcurrant, complemented by hints of bay leaf. On the palate, primary flavours of blackcurrant and bay leaf are layered with secondary notes of Plumms and chocolate. The wine’s velvety soft tannins contribute to a smooth mouthfeel, while the long finish leaves a satisfying impression.

Winemaking

Carefully sourced from two premium regions, this blend combines the boldness of Margaret River Cabernet with the softness and richness of Merlot from Manjimup. The wine is crafted to balance the freshness of the fruit with the complexity added by oak ageing, resulting in a smooth, approachable style.

A Wine That Tells a Story
This Folklore Cabernet Merlot challenges the notion that great wines must come with a hefty price tag. It delivers impressive depth and complexity, showing that exceptional quality can come at an accessible price point. Perfect for any occasion, this wine provides a true reflection of the best of both regions.

I have been buying my wines from Kirk for about two years now and I have never had a bad experience or wine. I love the fact that the wines are all West Australian, so supporting local and lower carbon footprint. He delivers when it’s convenient for me and brings the wine to my door. Wines are all good quality and well priced, especially the cleanskins. Highly recommended

I've been ordering from Partners in Wine for three years now - from the UK for my sister living in Perth. Each time they've been bang on with my order including on time delivery. Kirk has also helped me select my wines from an extensive list. A very pleasant and friendly company to deal with. I would highly recommend them.
