Colour: Bright crimson red.
Aromatics: Ripe blackcurrant, damson plum and sweet spice. Gentle notes of mocha and dark cherry begin to appear with time in the glass.
Palate: Juicy blackberries, cassis and ripe damson plum lead the way. A touch of mocha spice from oak ageing adds warmth and comfort. Medium bodied yet flavoursome, with soft but firm tannins offering savoury shape and classic Margaret River structure.
Finish: Smooth, generous and lingering with dark fruit and subtle spice.

A mild spring with good soil moisture set the season up well. Summer was moderate and even, offering consistent warmth without excessive heat. Cool evenings helped retain natural acidity, while the absence of major rain events allowed Cabernet and Shiraz to ripen cleanly and fully. A classic Margaret River red vintage.
