Duke’s Vineyard Magpie Hill series consistently produces some of WA’s best Shiraz.
Dukes flagship Reserve Shiraz is sourced from the highest and most central point of the vineyard, where the terroir results in a wine of great balance and plushness, framing bright fruit in velvety fine tannins and muscular power. A deep dark crimson appearance with black cherry edges.
The 2021 vintage has aromas of dark forest berries of mulberry and blackberry, blood plum, hints of soy and hoisin, roasted cardamom, pink and black peppercorns, cedar smoke, salted licorice, dried violets & dark chocolate.
A palate full of bright rich forest berry fruits, with mulberry, blackberry & salted plum. Elegant tannins, with a good fresh acid core supported with a great flavour persistence and mouthcoating, plush yet focused!
