Ray Jordan Review:
“One of WA’s most recognisable wines, and one which has been through a recent rejuvenation. This one is fleshy and smooth with a peppery earthy character pervading the fruity mix of juicy plums and dark chocolate. It’s balanced and seamlessly structured.”

Learn more about Evans & Tate winery

The history of Evans & Tate dates back to 1971 when John Evans and John Tate first planted vines in the Swan Valley. Three years later, they purchased land and planted a vineyard in Wilyabrup, in the heart of Margaret River, which they named Redbrook.

In 1987, the Evans & Tate Margaret River Classic (Semillon Sauvignon Blanc) was first released. Over 35 years on Evans & Tate remains one of Australia’s best-selling Margaret River wine brands.

Matt Byrne (Senior Winemaker) and Feleasha Prendergast(Winemaker)

Matt has been the custodian of Evans & Tate winemaking since 2001 and has played a pivotal role in driving the style and quality of the E&T range. Feleasha, having finished her Bachelor of Viticulture and Oenology in 2013, went on to gain winemaking experience all over the world. Both of their expertise and hard work keep Evans & Tate an award-winning winery.

Joining the Fogarty Wine Group in 2012, they continue to be one of Western Australia’s most beloved and trusted wineries, remaining true to the very essence of Margaret River.  There’s a renewed sense of enthusiasm and optimism with the new labels and series ‘Wild Cape’, ‘Expressions’ and ‘Single Vineyard’. The future looks very Rosé indeed.
