Winemaking Process

The 2023 vintage benefited from below-average minimum temperatures and moderate maximums, leading to highly aromatic and well-structured wines. The Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc were harvested at optimal ripeness, fermented separately in stainless steel to preserve their distinct characteristics, and then expertly blended to achieve balance and complexity.

Vintage Description

The growing season featured cooler nights and moderate daytime temperatures, allowing for slow, even ripening. These conditions enhanced the aromatic profile and natural acidity of both varieties, resulting in a wine of outstanding quality and freshness.

Led by partner and viticulturist Glen Harding, the Warner Glen wine Range is dedicated to crafting exceptional wines that excel in every aspect.

The cornerstone vineyard is the Jindawarra Vineyard, situated south of Karridale (Margaret River) boasting 34.6 hectares of vineyard planted area. Positioned on north-facing slopes with gravelly loam soils, this vineyard provides an optimal environment. Located just 6 kilometres from the Southern Ocean and 4 kilometres from the Indian Ocean, the vineyard benefits from cooling sea breezes, preventing extreme temperatures.

The plantings on our Jindawarra vineyard include 3 hectares of the Pinot Noir Droopy clone.

Glen’s vision involves a hands-on approach to vineyard management through to final production, ensuring the creation of outstanding value-for-money wines, lead by winemaker Andrew Vesey.
