Rich | Bold | Subtle Oak Spice

The Myattsfield Shiraz of 2023 is a pure Perth Hills expression that leans into vibrancy and flavour rather than heaviness. Fruit is hand-harvested from two Perth Hills vineyards, then fermented in traditional open-top fermenters with frequent cap work to build colour, perfume and fine tannin. Matured in a mix of new and older American hogsheads, it lands in that sweet spot where the oak adds shape and spice, but the fruit stays front and centre.

In the glass you’ll find bright dark cherry and black fruits, choc-licorice, charry spice and a hint of choc-mint, with a silky flow that keeps the wine fresh and energetic through to a long, satisfying finish. This is an easy red to love now, but it also has the structure to settle and develop over the next few years.
