    Situated in the Blackwood Valley wine zone – between Margaret River and Great Southern – the area benefits from Mediterranean climate with cool evenings, moderate summer temperatures, and granite-loam soils on elevations up to 340 m.

  • Vintage 2022:
    Saw a normal pattern of a wet, cool winter and dry summer under a continental influence, ideal for Cabernet ripening. Later-season dry warm conditions ensured balanced fruit with controlled tannins and lively acidity. Overall, an excellent vintage for Nannup.

Winemaking & Maturation

  • Harvest & Fermentation: Grapes picked at optimal ripeness; wild & inoculated ferment with 8–18 days contact on skins.

  • Oak Maturation: 12 months in French oak; 25% new adds subtle structure without overpowering the fruit.

  • Fining & Bottling: Gently fined and filtered to preserve clarity and precision.

Storage & Serving Tips

  • Serving Temperature: 16–18 °C to best express fruit and structure.
