Winemaking & Vintage Notes

• Winemaking – Grapes were picked at optimal ripeness, crushed into stainless steel fermenters for alcoholic fermentation, both wild and inoculated. Time on skins varied between 8-18 days. The wine was matured with French Oak for 12 months. It was fined and filtered before bottling.

• Vintage – The 2020 vintage experienced above-average winter rainfall and temperatures leading into spring, resulting in balanced canopies and ideal conditions for ripening. The reds from this vintage display intense varietal flavour and approachable tannins.

• Storage – Best enjoyed within the next 3–5 years to appreciate its freshness and structure.
