Nikola Estate Vermentino 2022

The 2022 vintage in the south west region of Geographe was warm. A combination of hot and dry days and cool evenings resulted in ideal ripening conditions for this small vineyard. The caliber of fruit is exceptional, providing excellent structure, fruit clarity and concentration.
The fruit for the vermentino was hand-picked from a small vineyard on the northern outskirts of Harvey. The fruit is lively and characteristic of all the wonderful flavour nuances you can expect from a vermentino. Pure soft pressed free-run juice, fermented with neutral yeast EC118, cool fermented for 3 weeks in stainless steel, filtered and bottled in May 2022.
The Nikola Estate Vermentino has floral aromatics with citrus rind, and lemon sherbet on the nose.
A clean minerality on the palate, exuding sherbet powder with a refreshing pristine finish and lime backbone.
