Woody Nook Wines Oaked Chardonnay
Two vintages currently in stock. Special museum release 2014 and the current 2018 vintage.
This wine exhibits fresh apple and sweet melon aromas enhanced by subtle toasty oak characters on the nose. The medium-bodied palate combines melon and stonefruit with a hint of creaminess. A streak of crunchy green apple acidity gives the wine freshness and a lingering finish. Drinking well now, however medium term cellaring of 3-5 years will be rewarded.
This oaked Chardonnay is produced and bottled at their single vineyard estate in Margaret River.
