Millbrook
Who owns Millbrook Winery? Millbrook is owned by Peter and Lee Fogarty. In 1996, Peter and Lee Fogarty, along with their three teenage children, planted the first Millbrook vines at Chestnut Farm – a true labour of love. Further plantings included Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc, with a particular focus on Shiraz and Viognier. Peter had long admired the Northern Rhône style of Shiraz Viognier and, after finding it difficult to source in Western Australia, set out to produce his own. It is now one of Millbrook Wines flagships.
The 20-acre estate plantings are focused on the Rhône varieties of Shiraz and Viognier. Millbrook Winery also sources parcels of fruit from exceptional sites across Western Australia, working with expert and dedicated growers to create modern and stylish wines that represent authentic and vibrant varietal character.
Millbrook Wines are crafted in the split-level winery, which is both compact and efficient, allowing the gravity transfer of juice and wine. Additionally, the temperature-controlled barrel halls mature the wines in the finest French and American oak barrels under optimum conditions.
Millbrook Vineyards are also located in Geographe and Margaret River as well as Jarrahdale.
