About Myattsfield Vineyard
Myattsfield is a family-operated winery in Carmel, in the Bickley Valley, run by Josh and Rachael Davenport. The winery’s story is closely tied to the Perth Hills, with Josh growing up on a citrus orchard in the valley and planting his first vineyard there in 1997 before the couple established their own winery. Myattsfield’s first crush followed in 2007.
Both Josh and Rachael have strong winemaking backgrounds, and the winery has built a reputation for expressive Perth Hills wines as well as less common Mediterranean and warm-climate varieties. Halliday’s winery profile notes varieties including Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Durif, Mourvèdre and Touriga among the broader vineyard mix, while the winery’s own range also shows sparkling, white, red and fortified styles.
