The 2023 vintage was a very dry growing season which led to one of the earliest vintages on record. As a result of the lack of rainfall, the yields were considerably reduced. The resulting fruit was of excellent quality with impressive flavour concentration.
Alkoomi’s Grazing series is always exceptional value. The 2023 Riesling has lifted aromas of white flowers, lime zest and musk.
Pristine flavours of lime and green apple with a fine linear acidity giving freshness and length to the palate.
Whilst ready to drink now, this wine will gain in complexity over the next five to eight years.
