Gnangara Semillon Sauvignon Blanc

Evans & Tate Gnangara Semillon Sauvignon Blanc

The Gnangara label from Evans & Tate is renowned for its commitment to delivering consistently good value wines. Situated in the heart of Western Australia’s vibrant Margaret River wine scene, Evans & Tate has established a reputation for crafting wines that offer exceptional quality at accessible prices. The Gnangara range exemplifies this ethos, focusing on producing wines that are both enjoyable and affordable.

The Evans & Tate Gnangara Semillon Sauvignon Blanc showcases a pale straw colour with subtle green tinges, reflecting its youthful and vibrant character. The wine’s bouquet is a delightful medley of intense aromas, featuring passionfruit and lychees complemented by a delicate undercurrent of herbal notes. This aromatic profile is achieved through cold fermentation and early bottling, which helps preserve the fresh and expressive qualities of the varietals.

On the palate, the wine offers a refreshing burst of zesty tropical fruit flavours that dance across the tongue. The Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc blend delivers a mouth-watering experience with a vibrant and invigorating acidity. The finish is long and persistent, leaving a lasting impression of the bright fruit notes and balanced herbal hints.

This versatile white wine pairs beautifully with a range of dishes. It complements seafood, such as grilled fish or calamari, and is a great match for light salads featuring citrus or vinaigrette dressings. Additionally, it can be enjoyed alongside fresh goat cheese or a simple vegetable pasta. The Gnangara Semillon Sauvignon Blanc is perfect for casual gatherings and will undoubtedly add a touch of brightness to your meal.
