The LS Merchants Red Blend 2025, better known as Drank, is the kind of red made for opening rather than overthinking. This playful, nouveau-style blend brings together Tempranillo, Sangiovese and Malbec in a fresh, juicy style packed with violets, blue fruits and cherry cola. It has enough tannin to feel like a proper red, but the brightness and energy make it perfect for relaxed drinking, especially with a slight chill.

What Is a Nouveau-Style Red?

A nouveau-style red is made to highlight youthful fruit, freshness and immediate drinkability rather than long oak maturation or heavy extraction. Drank was bottled shortly after vintage to retain its bright berry flavours and lively personality. It is still a dry red wine, but it feels lighter, juicier and more energetic than a traditional full-bodied Shiraz or Cabernet.

Cellar: Best enjoyed young while its floral perfume, juicy fruit and cherry-cola character are at their brightest.
