This comes from the Swinney vineyard in Frankland River. A cracking wine showing distinctive regional ironstone light rust characters, only 20% new French oak, perfumed red fruits with raspberry, medium weight and stylish, with wild brambly dried herbs.

Tasting Notes

Colour: Deep ruby with a vibrant, youthful core.
Aromatics: Red berries, raspberry, dried flowers and a hint of spice, with an ironstone, earthy nuance.
Palate: Medium weight and finely shaped. Red fruit purity, savoury spice and a gentle mineral line, with fine tannins that feel chalky rather than heavy.
Finish: Long, dry and savoury, finishing with brambly herbs and that Frankland ferrous edge.
