• Appearance: Attractive purple with mulberry tones and a bright magenta rim.
• Nose: Juicy raspberry with tobacco, vanilla, savoury satsuma plum, and raisins.
• Palate: Remarkable structure with unctuous juicy red fruits, savoury salty plums, well-orchestrated tannins, and expansive pomegranate. A polished mineral ironstone finish evokes flowers of rose and violets.
• Style: Medium-bodied red blend with vibrant fruit expression and elegant structure.

Terroir & Craft

• Region: Margaret River, Western Australia

• Vineyards: 67% Metricup, 33% Cullen Vineyard

• Varieties: 33% Malbec, 23% Grenache, 22% Mourvèdre, 17% Petit Verdot, 5% Merlot

• Harvest Dates: 12th, 13th, and 21st of February 2022 (two flower days and one fruit day)

• Oak: 8 months in old oak

• Alcohol: 13.5%

• Closure: Screw cap

• Farming: Biodynamic, no additions or fining at bottling

Cellaring & Serving

• Drink: Now – 2039

• Decanting: Optional, 60 minutes recommended

• Serving Temp: 16–18°C

I have been buying my wines from Kirk for about two years now and I have never had a bad experience or wine. I love the fact that the wines are all West Australian, so supporting local and lower carbon footprint. He delivers when it’s convenient for me and brings the wine to my door.
