Raspberry ~ Sour cherry ~ Forest floor spice

The Singlefile Single Vineyard Porongurup Pinot Noir 2024 is a beautifully detailed cool-climate Pinot from the Quin vineyard on the northern slopes of the Porongurup Range, sitting around 300 metres above sea level. This high-altitude site, with its granitic gravel loam soils and naturally cool conditions, is all about finesse and savoury nuance rather than sheer weight.

In 2024, Porongurup saw a warmer, drier growing season and harvest came around three weeks earlier than usual. Pinot Noir was a standout, delivering intense varietal flavour while keeping its delicate shape. In the glass you’ll find lifted raspberry and warm spice, then sour cherry, forest floor and a hint of game savouriness and wild herbs. Oak sits quietly in the background, adding polish without stepping on the fruit. It’s a delicate wine with real complexity, silky texture and fine, drying tannins that carry through to a long finish.

Why You Will Love It

  • Single vineyard Pinot Noir from Porongurup’s high-altitude Quin vineyard
  • Lifted aromatics of raspberry and spice with savoury, earthy detail
  • Subtle whole bunch influence for extra perfume and complexity
  • French oak barriques add polish without overpowering the fruit
  • Brilliant with food, especially game, mushrooms and pâté
  • Will develop extra savoury depth with time in bottle
