Vinanceous Red Right Hand Shiraz Blend

Bold ~ Spicy ~ Seductive

From the minds of winemakers Gavin Berry and Michael Kerrigan, Red Right Hand is a brooding, seductive red blend that balances Margaret River finesse with Frankland River power. A trio of Mediterranean varietals—Shiraz (65%), Tempranillo (22%), and Grenache (13%)—have been meticulously vinified and blended to create a wine with depth, energy, and serious drinkability.

A small batch of only 400 dozen produced.

Why You’ll Love It ❤️

  • 🔥 Shiraz delivers deep colour, spice, and structure.
  • 🍒 Grenache adds lifted perfume and juicy red fruit sweetness through the mid-palate.
  • 🧂 Tempranillo brings savoury edge and a dry, earthy twist that balances the wine.
  • 🪵 12 months in French oak (15% new) for added texture, complexity, and integration.
  • 🌱 Sustainably farmed with a low-intervention, holistic approach in both Margaret River and Frankland River.

Sustainable Philosophy

While not certified organic, the vineyards follow many organic principles:

  • Microbial soil conditioners and mineral fertilisers based on analysis

  • Sheep grazing for weed control and organic matter

  • Minimal herbicide and soft fungicide use

  • Kelp sprays during ripening for leaf health

  • Emphasis on canopy management to naturally deter pests and disease

Food Pairing Ideas

  • Lamb koftas with harissa yoghurt

  • Smoky BBQ brisket

  • Roast eggplant and capsicum ragù

  • Manchego or aged cheddar

Drink Now or Cellar?

Absolutely delicious now, but will reward 3–5+ years of cellaring as the tannins soften and the savoury layers deepen.

Learn more about Vinaceous Winery

Since 2007, Vinaceous wines collaboration has granted us access to some of the best vineyards from The Great Southern and Margaret River regions in Western Australia and enabled us to produce delicious wines.

The Vinaceous winemaking philosophy is simple and relatively non-intrusive – to produce fine and distinctive wines that reflect the individual characteristics of the vineyard and variety.

Many organic principles are incorporated into our vineyard systems. It is a ‘holistic approach’; with each component affecting the next with a strong emphasis on soil and plant health as a natural deterrent to pest and disease.

Vinaceous Wines are known for the colourful and somewhat flamboyant labels.
