Woody Nook Wines Cab Merlot
This wine is a classic Margaret River blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Merlot. It has a rich bouquet combining blackcurrant and capsicum aromas.
The 2017 vintage is medium to full-bodied with cassis and blueberry flavours and cedary oak. The dusty tannins and finely balanced acidity not only give the wine great structure and palate length but also provide a cellaring potential of 8 to 10 years.
Woody Nook Wines was founded in 1982 and has a premium, award winning selection of red and white wines. They are a small, family, boutique Margaret River winery that put attention to detail in every vintage. Peter and Jane Bailey took over the winery back in 2000 and since then Woody Nook has collected more than 300 awards, including 11 Trophies, 40+ Gold medals and 50+ Silver medals in some of the country’s most prestigious wine competitions.
