About Duke’s Vineyard
Duke’s Vineyard has built a strong reputation over more than two decades as a boutique, family-owned winery in the Great Southern. Its standing has been reinforced by major accolades, including being named Best Australian Wine of the Year in James Halliday’s Wine Companion in 2019.
A new chapter with the same standards
When founders Duke and Hilde Ranson retired in 2022, Ben Cane and Sarah Date took over the winery. Ben brought extensive winemaking experience from leading roles in Australia and California, and stepped into a label that had already played an important role in lifting the profile of Great Southern Riesling.
