About Woodgate Wines

A new chapter, but the same label. Woodgate has entered a new stage in recent years, with the vineyard property sold and the cellar door now closed. Even so, the winery continues as a wine business, with remaining stock from its vineyard years still available and further releases continuing under the Woodgate label. That gives the range an interesting mix of continuity and evolution, rather than feeling like a closed chapter.

Winemaking experience behind the label. Mark Aitken brings deep regional experience to Woodgate. His background in viticulture and oenology, together with many years making wine in the Manjimup and Pemberton district, helps explain why the range feels so confident across different styles.
