A lot of people don’t realise, but a Rosé is often made from a red grape like Shiraz, Cabernet or Tempranillo. The juice is squeezed out and it spends a little bit of time with its skins, thus getting it’s colour. So the next time someone says they like a Rosé but not a red wine, you can have some fun with them saying they are drinking the juice from a red wine.
